Rather than depicting specific places or narratives, Sara is interested in creating open, evocative landscapes of feeling, spaces where viewers can pause, reflect and bring their own experiences into the work. Water, light, and distant horizons frequently appear throughout her paintings as symbols of transition, introspection, and the passage between inner and outer worlds.
Born and raised in Sweden and now living in Lebanon, Sara’s artistic perspective is shaped by both cultures. She studied Arts Teaching at Malmö University, where she developed a deeper understanding of visual expression, creativity, and the ways art can foster connection and dialogue.
Through her paintings, Sara seeks to create moments of calm in an increasingly fast-paced world. Her work invites viewers to slow down, linger, and reconnect with the subtle emotions, memories, and quiet beauty that often go unnoticed.
